Spanish Bank Allocates 2% to Bitwise Aptos Staking ETP

Bitwise CEO Hunter HORSLEY has confirmed that an unnamed Spanish bank has invested in Bitwise Aptos exchange-traded product (ETP). The CEO noted that the financial institution allocated 2% to the investment product through one of its funds. Bitwise Aptos ETP (APTB) is traded on the Swiss exchange SIX, offering investors an alternative way to access cryptocurrency.

APT is the native token of Aptos, a layer-1 blockchain that focuses on scalability and security. Aptos ETP tracks the performance of APT and offers additional staking rewards to holders of the investment instrument.

In addition, Bitwise backs Aptos ETP with a corresponding APT in cold storage, increasing its credibility. Hunter Horsley noted that the crypto industry is witnessing mass adoption into the mainstream financial system. Widespread adoption among countries and public companies has strengthened its course to become a leading economic tool.
