Paxful condemned the prior actions of its former co-founders as inconsistent with the company’s current values. The company stated it remains committed to returning user funds securely and will keep users informed during the wind-down period, urging customers to withdraw balances promptly to avoid delays. Paxful expressed gratitude to its community of 14 million users across more than 140 countries and emphasized that the shutdown reflects a strategic assessment rather than insolvency or problems with the current leadership.
