Here’s the List of the 10 Altcoins Cryptocurrency Developers Have Focused on the Most in the Last Week

In the cryptocurrency market, developer activity is considered one of the most important indicators for the long-term success of a project.
Based on the last week’s worth of GitHub data, the altcoins developers are most focused on and the number of commits have been revealed. The lists are ranked separately at both the project and overall ecosystem levels.
Here are the altcoins and commit numbers that cryptocurrency developers have focused on most in the last week, based on projects:
- Cardano (ADA) – 354 commit
- Ethereum (ETH) – 190 commit
- Hedera (HBAR) – 162 commit
- Internet Computer (ICP) – 158 commits
- Chainlink (LINK) – 140 commits
- Polkadot (DOT) – 123 commit
- Arbitrum (ARB) – 117 commit
- Mina (MINA) – 109 commit
- Flow (FLOW) – 95 commit
- Scale (SKL) – 94 commits
According to this list, Cardano finished the week leading in core development activity. Meanwhile, Mina Protocol saw remarkable momentum with a 53% increase in commits compared to the previous month. Chainlink also stood out among the projects with an increase in both commits and developer numbers.
The most focused ecosystem-based issues are listed as follows:
- Ethereum (ETH) – 87,327 commits
- Scale (SKL) – 18,067 commits
- Cosmos (ATOM) – 9,183 commits
- Solana (SOL) – 6,677 commits
- Polkadot (DOT) – 4,123 commits
By ecosystem, Ethereum continues to be the project with the most contributions by far. However, the number of commits has decreased by 5% and the number of developers by 7%. Skale, on the other hand, has increased its commits by 33% in the last three months, demonstrating that it is entering a period of strong technical development.
