Bitcoin Exchange Binance Announces Support for This Altcoin’s Network Upgrade and Hard Fork! Here Are the Details

Binance has announced that it will support the upcoming upgrade and hard fork of the ZKsync Era (ZK) network to improve user experience.

To ensure the smooth execution of the planned work, the exchange will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on this network as of 10:30 AM on October 20, 2025.

The upgrade and hard fork are expected to occur around 11:30 a.m. Binance stated in a statement that token transactions (including spot trading) on the ZKsync Era network will not be affected by this process.

The platform emphasized that all technical requirements regarding the network update will be handled automatically by Binance and users do not need to take any action in this regard.

Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals once the network upgrade is successfully completed and the system is stable. The company stated that no further announcements will be made on this matter.

ZKsync Era is known as one of Ethereum’s Layer-2 scalability solutions, and such network upgrades are critical to enabling faster and lower-cost transactions.
