KuCoin Adds ZORA Listing Expanding Access to Base Network Creator Token

Crypto exchange KuCoin will list the ZORA token (ZORA) on its Spot Trading platform on April 23. Trading for the ZORA/USDT pair will begin tomorrow at 13:00 UTC.
Deposits for the token are already live via the Base network (as an ERC-20 compatible token), allowing KuCoin users to prepare before trading starts. Withdrawals will open the following day.
Zora Launch Time and Trading Details
Preceding the open trading, ZORA will undergo a call auction period on April 23 from 12:00 to 13:00 UTC. This process helps establish a fair opening market price by matching buy and sell orders before continuous trading begins promptly at 13:00 UTC. KuCoin confirmed ZORA withdrawals start April 24th at 10:00 UTC.

Understanding Zora: A Platform for On-Chain Creators
For those unaware, Zora is a blockchain platform that allows users to create, share, and monetize digital content.
Launched in 2023, the project focuses on helping creators distribute their media on-chain within a decentralized and censorship-resistant environment, offering them a more direct path to earning revenue from their audiences.
The decision to launch ZORA on the Base network, a Layer 2 solution built by Coinbase, reflects the project’s focus on scalability and low transaction costs.
Base has gained traction for supporting decentralized social apps and meme tokens. Zora’s use of this network is likely to simplify user onboarding and increase adoption through accessibility and low fees.
